Camps, Clinics & 1:1s

Extra hockey, coached the EGHC way. Day camps in the school holidays, focused skills clinics and one-to-one sessions with our coaches — all on our own pitches in East Grinstead, open to members and friends of the club, with member pricing for EGHC members.

October half term 2026 is open for booking. Junior Camp (Mon 26 Oct), Performance Camp (Tue 27 Oct) and Skills Clinics (Wed 28 & Thu 29 Oct).

Three ways to get better

Pick the format that suits your player

Everything here sits alongside a player's regular club training. Choose a full day of hockey, a short, sharp clinic on one skill, or dedicated time with a coach.

Day camps

Camps

Full days of hockey in the school holidays (09:00–15:00). Each camp series has a theme, so players spend the day building one part of their game through drills, small-sided games and matches. Junior camps are for U8–U12; Performance camps are for U12–U16 players who want a tougher, faster day.

Clinics

Two-hour sessions that go deep on a single skill. A great way to top up between camps, or to work on the one thing your player keeps coming home talking about. Masterclasses run from time to time too.

1:1 coaching

A 50-minute session with one of our coaches, built entirely around your player — technique, a position, a skill they want to master or preparing for trials. Choose a slot that suits you from the coach's live diary.

1:1 coaching

Time with a coach, just for your player

One-to-one sessions are the quickest way to sharpen a specific skill. The coach works on exactly what your player needs — no queues, no waiting for a turn. Coaches' diaries are split into one-hour slots and each session lasts 50 minutes.

Getting the most from a 1:1

Before you book

Have a goal. A skill, a position or a trial coming up — tell the coach so the session is planned around it.

Book a run. A short series of sessions lets the coach set work, check progress and build on it.

Bring kit. Stick, shin pads, gumshield, water and the right footwear for the pitch.

Arrive early. Sessions start on the hour so the coach can keep to time for the next player.

How booking works

Four steps to the pitch

Step 1

Choose your session

Browse camps, clinics and 1:1s in the club store. Each listing shows the date, times, age group and focus.

Step 2

Add the player's name

Enter the player's name on the booking. For 1:1s, click Select Time and choose a slot from the coach's diary.

Step 3

Check out

Pay securely online. Members: log in first so your member price is applied, and earn EGPoints on every booking.

Step 4

Turn up and play

Arrive 10 minutes early with full kit, water and a packed lunch for day camps. Our coaches take it from there.

EGHC members get lower prices on camps, clinics and 1:1s.

Not a member yet? Friends of the club are welcome to book too.
