East Grinstead Hockey Club has been part of the town since 1897, and it has always been about more than hockey. From Sunday mornings full of U6s taking their first shots to Premier League match days with the whole family on the side-lines, this is a club where parents play, children grow up together and friendships last for decades.

A club the whole family can call home

Come to the club on a Sunday morning and you'll see it straight away: juniors training across the pitches, parents catching up over a coffee on the side-lines, older players helping out with the little ones. EGHC is a club where every generation shares the same space and the same colours.

Many of our families have more than one player: a parent who picked a stick back up through Back to Hockey, a teenager in the U16s and a younger sibling just starting out at U6. We love that, and we've built our membership so that bringing the whole family along is rewarded.

Off the pitch, the social side matters just as much: match-day double headers, club events and end-of-season celebrations, home games streamed live on EG Hockey TV, and a community of volunteer coaches, umpires, team managers and helpers who make it all happen.

The more of you who play, the more you save

Hockey is better when the whole family is involved, so we reward families who join together. Discounts apply to each additional membership in the same family, whether that's juniors, adults or a mix of both.
